Stourport Manor Hotel is proud to present ‘Murder at Morston Manor’, a historical whodunit from professional murder mystery company Murder in Mind. It’s fast and funny and will give you plenty of opportunity to exercise your sleuthing skills while enjoying a great evening’s entertainment.

Home of Sir Jimmy Shand, it was his family seat but he was the last of the Shand line so it looked like it would belong to the Heritage Trust, be restored so that visitors could come and see the beautiful house and grounds.

Sir Jimmy was a very generous man, he supported many projects in the village. He was part of the Sheridan Singers, a local choir attached to the church.

Sir Jimmy never married but he did have a relationship with Daisy Lane, a fellow chorister.

Daisy and Sir Jimmy were really in love, but when Gloria became Sir Jimmy’s secretary, Gloria found out she was pregnant with Sir Jimmy’s baby, and moved out of the village.

Professor Jeremy Lyons is going around the room asking who has got ghoulies?

He is very keen to get this show off the ground and make some serious money, so he is looking for lots of information from the guests to build a great story for his books, tv programmes etc.

He will say he has investigated lots of happenings and is fascinated by the stories he hears from people. He can reel off some very amusing and strange ones. He is very interested in his work, even though he is not a professor at all and hopes the programme will get him more work and most of all, money.

Over the years, our murder mystery nights have been popular without a doubt, so come and join us for a classic whodunnit live interactive performance whilst you enjoy a luxurious 3 course fine dining experience.

The reception will begin at 7pm, followed by the 3 course sit down meal.
